About me

My name is Krishi Manek and I’m a second-year computer science major at Georgia Tech. I have a deep passion for machine learning and natural language processing, but I’m always open to expand my knowledge in every domain of computer science including algorithms and web development.

Among my favorite things to do are stargazing, traveling, hanging out with friends, listening to music, going on drives, and annoying my brother. I especially enjoy playing an Indian sing-off game called ‘Antakshari’ with my grandma whenever I’m home. I frequent the gym no matter where I am, and I’ve converted multiple friends into avid gymers.

I love seeking out adventure, and on my bucket list are cliff jumping, surfing, and trekking to Everest Basecamp. My biggest brag is that I’ve sat on the world’s fastest rollercoaster 5 times! I’m also a little bit of a fashionista and I love choosing trendy outfits to wear (although it takes me forever to do this, and I should probably come up with an algorithm for it).

I am a linguist and I am fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, and French but I’ve also tried my hand at Sanskrit, Japanese, and Italian. I love learning new human and computer languages! Finally, I am a total space-nerd and I believe that outer space exploration holds the answer to life’s deepest questions.
